How We Work
Every Templ project follows the same disciplined process. Here is what it looks like to build with us.
Step One
It starts with a conversation.
Face to face if we can, phone or video if that's easier. Before anything else happens we just talk about the project, the budget, the timeline, and whether we're the right fit for each other. You'll be talking to me, not a form.
Half the problems in this industry come from skipping that conversation.
Step Two
We work out exactly what you need.
If your plans are done, we get straight into it. If you're still looking for the right designer, we'll point you toward people we trust. Then we price the job properly, line by line, off the actual scope instead of a square-metre guess. There's a quoting fee for this stage, and it comes straight off the build price when you proceed.
Everyone has skin in the game from the start.
Step Three
Everything is prepared before a single tool is lifted.
We write the contract together and define the scope together, so there are no surprises hiding in the fine print. Insurances are supplied, permits are applied for and managed on your behalf, and nothing starts until both of us are completely comfortable.
This stage protects you as much as it protects us, so we don't rush it.
Step Four
This is where Templ earns its reputation.
This is the part we're known for. The site runs clean and organised, trades and timelines are managed through our software, and you follow it all through your own client portal. Come visit weekly. We encourage it. Every milestone payment is documented and agreed before the stage starts, never after.
The thing clients tell us most often has nothing to do with the pace or the finish. It's that they never once had to wonder what was happening on their own job.
Step Five
Handover isn't the finish line for us.
After the formal handover there's a defects inspection and a defects liability period, and every client gets an aftercare handbook. It's a plain-English guide to how warranty claims work, so you're never chasing us for answers.
This industry has a habit of going quiet after the last invoice. We stay reachable for the next two years and well after.
Step Six
This is what it was all for.
All the plans, permits, decisions and early mornings were for this: standing in a home that didn't exist before, built the way you imagined it, by people who cared about it nearly as much as you do.
That feeling is the same on a bathroom as it is on a full rebuild.
